Student Promotion

Congratulations to two of our students Jack Abbs and James Cruickshank who were recently graded and promoted to a new belt. Jack has been promoted to 5th Kyu and was awarded his yellow belt and James for his promotion to 6th Kyu (red).

Both of these students have been coming to the club for quite a while and despite some reservations about their own ability they have shown significant promise. Their curiosity and enthusiasm for the sport has been been a real asset and has enabled them to quickly develop their skills both in Randori and Ne-waza.

Congratulations to both of you and I look forward to continuing to work with you over the next few months to further develop your skills.
